Last Chance to Apply for the Landlord Compensation Fund is June 18, 2021

June 18, 2021, is the last day for landlords to apply for the third and final round of rental assistance through the Landlord Compensation Fund on behalf of their tenants who are behind on rent.

The Landlord Compensation Fund allows participating landlords to receive funding for an amount equal to 80% of the rental debt owed by qualified residents from April 2020 through the month the application round they are applying in opened. Landlords would then have to agree to forgive the remaining 20% of the tenant's debt as part of the grant agreement and as a condition of receiving payment.
